no other hope for us but that we grow wise

 This is a very introspective and personal post about what pairings I like and why I like them. I've been thinking about it mostly in the context of "why are my main ships M/M?" but it's broadened out and become more general. I wasn't sure whether it would be an interesting post but, uh, what am I here for except to follow my impulses and post long blog posts that may or may not be relevant to anyone else???
