subject matters at hand

I might, in fact, actually use this, mainly because it turns out I missed long-format blogging? I'll do a little bit of intro even though you all know me, just in case someone else wanders in here, and then I'll make a list of what I might use this journal for if I wind up using it.

Hi! I'm Book! I'm a quarter of a century old, a linguistics PhD student, aro, ace, agender, and very tired. What I might put here:

• Fandom musings (I'm particularly into Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell, Discworld, Star Trek, and Lord of the Rings, as my interests say)
• General stuff about academia and linguistics
• Queer ruminations on gender and orientation
• Possibly also kink ruminations, which I don't do on tumblr but may here; this will heavily overlap with the above but will be tagged appropriately so you can avoid it
• Disability stuff about my various Brain and Body Things
• Book reviews, quite possibly, because I've been trying to have a book review blog for...well, actually, since my LJ days (which doesn't speak well to my ability to actually DO it, but we'll see)
• Religion stuff (I'm a roman polytheist and I'm real bad at it)
• hipstery fancy tags that are at best suggestive rather than informative because it's fun
